The Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 1) is Greater Victoria’s main artery, lined with retail plazas, business parks, and transit exchanges. Multiple public works upgrades are ongoing to improve connectivity from the Westshore into Saanich and Downtown Victoria, including RapidBus lane expansions and new bus shelters that improve connectivity to shopping, employment zones, and major educational institutions along the corridor.
